We had a preview of Hunter's Legacy in mid-June in the following article. Although the game was not yet finalized at that time, we were able to see the main features and get a preview of the mechanics of this independent project. At the time, only one thing was missing: a release date. It is now settled because the game is available since yesterday!
And the team celebrated the event with joy and good humor with friends, fans and the press!
A little recap for the occasion which, we hope, will make you want to give the title a chance! Hunter's Legacy makes you play the character Ikki who must recover the stolen artifact from his village. To do this, you have two weapons at your disposal to counter evil minions: a distant and a melee.
The game itself remains a classic platform with some puzzles to advance through the levels. The enemies are varied whether in terms of pattern or difficulty. Some are particularly annoying between their levitating ability and ability spamming. There is also a role-playing dimension to the character's progression. You must indeed collect rubies to improve Ikki (level points, weapons ...)
To conclude, Hunter's Legacy is a good little independent platformer with an interesting graphic touch. The lifespan as well as the history are clearly strong points for this game which has just been released.
The soundtrack is also available for 0.99 €.
