Woof woof ! The next champion of Infinite Crisis is not a humanoid like the vast majority of champions, but a dog and not just any: Krypto, in other words the dog who watches and accompanies Kal-El / Superman.
History
Shortly after Kal-El (aka Superman on Earth) was born, his father Jor-El genetically modified a dog to watch over his son. The faithful companion received increased intelligence and loyalty. Several years later, as Krypton was about to be destroyed, Jor-El led his family to the Phantom Zone.
It was then that the Krypto dog protected his masters from the Zone prisoners who tried to escape. He damaged the portal and found himself trapped inside. But fate had decided to reunite Kal-El and his four-legged guardian: the Zone of Strange Powers allowed Krypto to follow Superman to Earth and has been accompanying him ever since.

Vigilance
After picking up a bone thrown by Rapporte !, Krypto's next skill or Basic Attack is upgraded. An improved Basic Attack deals additional Power Damage and briefly Roots the target.

Krypto throws his bone at the target location and Reveals the area for a short time. He can activate the skill a second time to charge onto the bone, Slowing any enemies he passes through and dealing Power Damage to them. While charging, Krypto is immune to shackles. Allied champions can pick up Krypto's bone and throw it twice as far. By picking up the bone, the recovery of Rapporte! ends.
The men's best friend
Krypto rushes into an ally's defense, granting a shield to Krypto, any allies he passes through, and the targeted champion. With Vigilance, the intensity of the shields is increased.
On the hunt
Krypto's howl temporarily decreases the Attack Speed of nearby enemies. With Vigilance, this skill additionally inflicts Power Damage to affected enemies.
Hurlement stridant
Krypto hurls a powerful blast across a large area in front of him, inflicting Power Damage and pulling enemies hit towards the center of the affected area.
