Shadow of the Beast - Origins and retrospective

Shadow of the Beast - Origins and retrospective

The mythical Shadow of the beast, which made the heyday of the Amiga and Atari in the late 80s, will soon be entitled to its remake.

Almost 30 years after the release of the original game, the Heavy Spectrum studio, responsible for its remake, evokes the origins of the game, that is to say the fanatical legacy of Shadow of the beast. First, a video from two creators of the original game, Martin Edmonson and Roger Dean. They give their opinion on this remake:

Note also that the original game, emulated on Amiga, will be included in the remake (obviously in the form of a reward in the game).

Music has been one of the highlights of the game. Composer Ian Livingstone has produced a dynamic soundtrack specially designed for the universe of Shadow of the beast: a musical theme for each level and which intensifies according to the action. Connoisseurs will be able to recognize certain themes and elements of the original game from 1989.

For music fans, the original version of David Whittaker will be unlocked in the game. Highly requested by players, as soon as they have enough mana, they will be able to unlock this version and play with it.

If you fall in love with the music, you can purchase the original soundtrack separately, which will be available for download when the game is released on the Playstation Store.

Roger Dean's artwork will have had an effect on all fans who bought the original game box. Roger Dean made it available to all fans. But you will have to play to hope to unlock it and admire it.

The game will be released on May 17 in Spain.
