SWTOR - Make your PvE gear from 50 to 1.2

With the arrival of 1.2, a new level of equipment is available and it is therefore necessary to provide some additional explanations to the first article on Tionist, Columi and Rakata equipment. Georg Zoeller summed up the changes on this topic very well.

You will find a new vendor next to his colleagues in the Reserves district on your faction's Fleet station with the title "Campaign and Black Hole Equipment".

This character sells two sets of equipment for each class:

  • - Black Hole Type 1 (...) (Ex: Black Hole Rampart Type 1 body armor): can be purchased with Black Hole distinctions, recoverable with the weekly quest for the new Black Hole area on Corellia ( 6) and the weekly quest for the Rakghoul Invasion Flashpoints or is collected in the new Operation, Explosive Conflict, in all modes
  • - (...) campaign (Ex: Body armor of a military leader of the campaign): is exchanged for an unassembled piece of field armor, recoverable in the new operation, Explosive Conflict, in hard mode or on the new one outdoor boss on Belsavis

The black hole set does not unlock a set bonus unlike the campaign set which shares it with the Rakata set. Here are the Black Tower award costs for the type 1 set:

  • Cuffs: 30
  • Size / Ear / Implant: 35
  • Feet / Hands / Secondary hand: 50
  • Legs: 55
  • Torso / Head: 60

The campaign set does not offer ears and implants but on the contrary, it offers main weapons.

Appearence

These pieces of equipment are of purple quality but you can now extract all the modifications (armor and hilt / barrel included). As part of the sets, the bonus is related to armor, so if you don't like these appearances, you are free to grab the upgrades and include them in another outfit (from the same slot).

These appearances come from the Dulfy.net site where you can find the available color variances.

Additionally, it is possible to reverse engineer Campaign gear to obtain the orange blueprints of the skin.

Daniel Erikson summed up the community reaction by saying "I don't care what level I reach, I want the main armor at my disposal to keep that Star Wars touch and stay consistent with my class: more impressive without being outrageous. Keep them on. delusions for optional equipment ". Is this your case? I rather like the appearance of the Sith Warrior. It will be fine with my little Fury.
