    .LAZR. - Overview

.LAZR. is a Dual Stick Shooter discovered during Pix'N'Tech. The game is retro in its graphic style and mechanics. As the game is played in local multiplayer, there is also a trend that has disappeared with the expansion of online multiplayer: playing by inviting friends rather than playing alone in your corner. While two-on-two is a lot of fun, nothing beats a four-player game for yourself.

The principle is simple, you have a stick to direct you and another to aim, a key to shoot and one to change weapons (and, in the case of the ninja, one to activate your power). You can choose two weapons among the three offered and a bonus.

Your choice will therefore be on the rocket launcher, the katana and the railgun for the weapons. For the bonuses, it will be the shield, the aura and the ninja. The railgun allows long range and precise shots. The rocket launcher can be aimed after firing. Finally, the low range katana allows you to rush towards the enemy.

In terms of bonuses, the aura allows you to take the first shot. The shield blocks shots but only protects you away from where you are aiming. Finally, the ninja allows to disappear leaving a lure immobile. Be careful, however, you are invisible to the enemies but also to yourself, so you will have to remember your position.

The game also offers several game modes. Thief mode allows you to collect points when you kill a player before he collects them. Moshi mode changes the background color. This color being that of your character, there will be times when you will be totally invisible and others more visible. Other modes will be added to the game later.

The game has an evolving price. Basic it costs a dollar and the price increases by 1 cent for each copy sold. Of course, if the game sells well the price will be blocked at some point.

And to wrap up, here's a trailer:
