SWTOR - The affection of the Consular's companions

SWTOR - The affection of the Consular's companions

End the affection of companions without spending a round.

You are finally level 50. Now comes the time to complete everything you put aside during the leveling phase. With this little guide, I suggest you increase the affection of your companions while earning money and improving your stuff.

Indeed, at the max level, we have access to daily quests on Ilum and Belsavis. These earn us some interesting and essential credits and armor upgrades to start the PVE HL. Guides already exist on this subject, so we won't talk about it any further. However, each quest involves dialogue, each dialogue involves a choice of response, and each choice of response involves varying degrees of affection from companions.

I have tested all the possible combinations for you and give you the results of my investigations here. Alas, I only have one Consular at level 50. The following data therefore only concerns this class. Therefore, I appeal to courageous and persevering souls to test the possibilities of other classes and deliver their results to us.

The following tables show companion affection gains based on quests. Refer to the legend for a better understanding.

Legend

Figures in bleu are those that bring affection.

Zeros in red mean that all the choices offered make you lose affection.

The numbers and the Xs in noir indicate neutral responses. No loss, no gain of affection.

The X's mean that any answer is neutral. The numbers in parentheses are neutral choices to be selected, the other choices inducing a loss of affection.

When the column for a quest is split in two: the left part is when you pick up the quest and the right part is when you return it.

The quests are arranged in a more or less logical order. It is in any case in this order there that I take them, sorry if this is not the case for you.

There you have it, with this little guide, you just have to make sure you have the right partner before starting a dialogue and choosing the right answers. It may seem tedious to change companions every time, but the payoffs can be worth it.

If you are playing another class, feel free to test the answers like I did and send us the results. This will surely be useful for other players. On the other hand, if you notice any errors or think I forgot something, please let me know.
