WildStar - DevConnect: The Faction Barrier

On the forums, Chad Moore launched a new concept: the DevConnect. In short, this consists of asking the community for its opinion on certain points, allowing it to become even more involved in the good improvement of WildStar. This first issue deals with factions, especially the limits in terms of interactions between them.

Reducing the barrier between the Exiles and the Dominion is not a new subject, being discussed internally at Carbine but also within the community. Chad would like to know the players' opinion on 4 points:

  • How do you feel about removing the barrier between factions? Why ?
  • How do you feel about keeping the barrier between factions? Why ?
  • If you were to ever be a developer, what would your take on the faction barrier be?
  • How would you make PvP indicators work with faction barriers?

What do you think of the idea for the show? What about reducing the barrier between factions? For my part :


My opinion

I would say it can be good to reduce the line between factions. That we can talk to each other and perform content together could be good and even understandable at the Lore level. Afterwards, from a PvP perspective, I would see that it is possible to go into PvP mode and still be able to hit each other on the face between factions if you want to.
