WoW - Isle of Thunder: Stage 4

WoW - Isle of Thunder: Stage 4

Thanks to the players' investment, the Isle of Thunder moved to stage 4, unlocking a scenario, quests, a new rare boss (Lu-Ban) as well as access to the Thunder Forges which allow blacksmiths to create new weapons and the Lightning Steel Ingot.

Scenario

We have found a pterreurdaile and it is the only one that can be used for an air attack on the mining operation. Here is the new solo scenario, On the way to the heavens, seen by a character on the Horde side (the Alliance side scenario is very similar).

  • Phase 1 : lift-off…

When we arrive, Aile-Tonnerre waits, hop, in the saddle and we go towards the entrance of the mine.

  • Phase 2 : intercepted!

In flight, attackers arrive, mounted on other dinosaurs. Fearlessly, I jump through the void to defeat my attackers with the Hop special ability (jump on the back of the targeted pterrordaile). Hope you don't have vertigo!

  • Phase 3 : master the dressing room.

Horaki, the fighter, throws us off, boom! Fortunately, the fall is done without difficulty. This archer makes areas on the ground, a large red circle, which must be removed promptly. He also likes to immobilize on the ground (which can suddenly hurt with a bad combination of the two). In fact, nothing deadly, he is really not very bad.

  • Phase 4 : in the mine

We join Taoshio, a cute pandaren.

  • Phase 5 : you look good!

Taoshio sets up a bomb in front of the big rocks next to her, avoid staying next to it (rocks can hurt!). Enter the cave, Storm Vein. Watch out for stealth classes, the slaves see you! Kill Shan'ze's Slavers and Shockers.

  • Final phase : cover me!

As soon as you reach the bottom, the final phase is triggered. Taoshi (the pandaren) asks us to hold the attention of slave master Shiaxu as she removes the lock on the mine door. This boss places areas in front of him, which you have to get out of otherwise you will find yourself thrown back with damage. Towards the middle of the fight, it places 3 shackles that deal 8000 damage every 3 seconds and reduce movement speed by 60%. In order to get rid of it, you have to move away from the anchor point even if a more nagging technique is simply to finish the boss without taking care of it.

Once the boss is killed, the door explodes and arrives Lor'themar Theron. Horde blacksmiths can now begin to study mogu techniques, against the advice of Taoshi who wants to destroy these abominations:

Lor'themar Theron says: Great work. I knew the Shado-Pan would be great allies.
Taoshi says: We have a common enemy, Lord Regent. Nothing more.
Lor'themar Theron says: We still hit the Thunder King with a bang. Horde blacksmiths can now begin to study mogu techniques.
Taoshi said: With all due respect… these abominations should be destroyed!
Lor'themar Theron says: All in good time, my friend. Everything in its time.

Thunder Forge

By killing Itoka, Master of the Forge, a mini-boss on the Isle of Thunder (57.6, 33.8), the blacksmiths have a chance to obtain a bizarre metal ingot initiating a quest (the Lightning Steel). After completion, the blacksmith learns to melt the lightning steel ingot and obtains 6 weapon recipes, blue quality (iLvl 463):

  • Recast Planar Edge
  • Recast Lunar Crescent
  • Fire Guard overhauled
  • Rebuilt Lionheart Blade
  • Rebuilt Drake's Fist Hammer
  • Thunder recast

By creating these weapons, the blacksmith learns the upgraded version (epic iLvl 473). He can also learn new bosses by melting the Lightning Steel Ingot (with a 24-hour CD).
