North part

North part

I continue my series of articles on the discovery of points of interest with the start area for young shoots, the Caledon Forest, zone 1-15.

Summary

We have 5 types of points of interest:

  •  : mission (301)
  •  : waypoint (507)
  • : remarkable site (717)
  •   : skill challenge (202)
  •  : panoramas (266)

In parenthesis, I indicated the number of points of interest in the world. What to take care of, isn't it! Each time you discover all of these points of interest for a given area, you unlock a chest full of gifts. Rest assured, I'll help you sort it out.

In this area we have 18 , 18  20  and 8  . Admittedly, this area is really easy, we just tend to go in all directions, so I'm going to give you just a few indications from the south (on the assumption that we are starting from the capital, the Bosquet):

  • South
  • intermediate zones
  • milieu
  • north

On most screens, I leave the interface so that you can locate yourself thanks to the minimap. Take advantage of it?

South

Verdoyance

This panorama is accessible from the south via a ramp, made of greenish rocks, rising gently.

Intermediate zone

Detailed points:

East: Antre de Bercebruyère

When you change zones to the east, from Morgan's Spiral to Glencarn Sperrins, at the waypoint, there is the Hogweed Lair zone with a site, a skill challenge and a mission.

During this mission, be sure to talk to the mission giver so you can infiltrate the Nightmare Court. Once your job is done, you can go out one way or the other and drop the disguise. Don't forget to go all the way for the skill challenge!

To continue north there, take the footbridge (which passes over the nightmarish enclave where there is a Jumping Puzzle) and, if you are at least level 5, do not take the Protector's advice into consideration. Tomos:

I advise you not to go any further. It's dangerous. The protectors have not yet managed to take this region.

West: Valley of Pain

The road that goes to the west, below the text Plage de Criquesable, allows you to discover the site of the Valley of Pain. Once this site is discovered, continue on the road in order to reach the Ogham Expanses skill challenge (to the south, the skill challenge opposite being in the next area). The rock seems to slide a little but persevere, it goes up well (I passed just to the left of the root, where I am standing):

The panorama on the other side is easily accessible by climbing the green alley.

Middle

I will detail the 3 panoramas of this part (from south to north):

Bay refuge

This panorama is very simple, you just have to climb on the beam from the terrace of the refuge. In order not to fall back to the other side of the wall, go up slowly through the side.

Ventry Bay

Access to the top of the rock is from the south side, right next to the Scout. There are boards that allow you to climb, it's really not a panorama for me, I had to do it 3 times before going!

Ruins of the imperceptible

This panorama is finally a fun panorama! Until now, the panoramas were still too simple. To reach the boards that we saw previously, you have to go through big drums, on the right (watch out for Skrits).

Continue to the end following the wall on narrow planks.

At one point you will have to pass to the other side through an arch. Continue straight ahead until you pass the panorama. Do not panic if you do not see how to go up and continue, at the end you will find boards which go up while turning back. To reach the panorama, you have to make a rather long voucher at the very end, aim well for the part without a wall, otherwise you risk stumbling into it and finding yourself 20m lower!

North part

There are 3 panoramas here, on the other hand I am not insulting you to explain the Refuge de Caledon to you! Detailed points:

Bay of Quetzal

The Merchant's Lawn Panorama (the one to the west, overlooking the bay) is easily accessible via a grassy access ramp that starts behind the tents, at the rock face.

For the site in the middle of Quetzal Bay, dive into the water, no need to search the surface!

Refuge of Kraitban

The panorama of the Kraitban refuge is at the top of one of the two towers. Once on the ramparts (there is a ramp to the right and left of the gate) you will not fail to notice some sort of scaffolding, supported on large beams interlocking in the tower.

Follow the logical path, jumping from platform to platform and you will come to the flag of the tower and the panorama. The first time there are boards missing, you can use the tower ledge (on my right). For the second part (on my left), there is no choice: you have to aim for the plank!

It's over for the Sylvari. I do not yet know where my steps will take me but you will know it very quickly!
